Cow Spots and Tales

I think perhaps I’ve been focusing too much on my un-favorite parts of winter this season. I looked back at my past few posts, and they all seem to talk about cold and snow! I promise there’s more to life than the weather during a Minnesota winter — even if it can feel all-consuming.

I enjoy being outside running or doing farm chores on a nice winter day, I go ice fishing with my husband, and I’ve even been known to ski (not well). I don’t let the weather stop me from life as usual, but on winter evenings I do like home activities such as reading or movies — possibly accompanied by tea, hot chocolate, or wine.
